सब सखी कसुंबा छठही मनावो ॥ अपने अपने भवन भवनमें लालही लाल बनावो ॥१॥ विविध सुगंध उबटनों लेके लालन उबट न्हवावो ॥ उपरना लाल कसुंबी कुल्हे आभूषन लाल धरावो ॥२॥ यदि छबि निरख निरख व्रज सुन्दरि मन मन मोद बढावे ॥ लाल लकुटी कर मुरली बजावे रसिक सदा गुन गावे ॥३॥

सब सखी कसुंबा छठही मनावो ॥ अपने अपने भवन भवनमें लालही लाल बनावो ॥१॥
O sakhis, celebrate Kasumba Chhath together. In each of your homes, adorn Lal entirely in red. ॥१॥

विविध सुगंध उबटनों लेके लालन उबट न्हवावो ॥ उपरना लाल कसुंबी कुल्हे आभूषन लाल धरावो ॥२॥
Bring various fragrant ubtans and bathe Lal with them. Dress Him in a red upper cloth, a safflower-colored kulah, and red ornaments. ॥२॥

यदि छबि निरख निरख व्रज सुन्दरि मन मन मोद बढावे ॥ लाल लकुटी कर मुरली बजावे रसिक सदा गुन गावे ॥३॥
Beholding this beauty again and again, the women of Vraj feel ever-growing joy in their hearts. Lal holds His staff in hand and plays the flute, while the rasikas continually sing His virtues. ॥३॥

sab sakhee kasumbaa chhathahee manaavo ||
apne apne bhavan bhavanamen laalahee laal banaavo ||1||

vividh sugandh ubatanon leke laalan ubat nhavaavo ||
uparanaa laal kasumbee kulhe aabhooshan laal dharaavo ||2||

yadi chhabi nirakh nirakh Vraj sundari man man mod badhaave ||
laal lakutee kar muralee bajaave rasik sadaa gun gaave ||3||
