सघन घटा घन घोर न्हेनी न्हेनी बूंदन हो पिय वर्षे ॥ तेसीय कनक चित्र सारी तामें पोढी पिय प्यारी तेसीय दामिनी अतिही दर्षे ॥१॥ तेसेई बोलत मोर कोकिला करत रोर उठत मन कलोल दंपति हिय हुलसें ॥ गोविन्द प्रभु सुघर दोउ गावत केदारो राग तान अतिही सरसें ॥२॥

सघन घटा घन घोर न्हेनी न्हेनी बूंदन हो पिय वर्षे ॥ तेसीय कनक चित्र सारी तामें पोढी पिय प्यारी तेसीय दामिनी अतिही दर्षे ॥१॥

Dense, dark clouds gather, and soft, fine drops of rain fall. In the same way, the beloved rests in a beautiful golden-patterned sari, shining brightly like lightning. ॥१॥

तेसेई बोलत मोर कोकिला करत रोर उठत मन कलोल दंपति हिय हुलसें ॥ गोविन्द प्रभु सुघर दोउ गावत केदारो राग तान अतिही सरसें ॥२॥

The peacocks call and the cuckoos sing, filling the heart with joy; the hearts of the divine couple are delighted. Govind’s graceful Lord and His beloved both sing Raga Kedaro, and their melodies are very sweet. ॥२॥

saghan ghataa ghan ghor nhenee nhenee boondan ho piy varshe ||
teseey kanak chitr saaree taamen podhee piy pyaaree teseey daaminee atihee darshe ||1||

teseee bolat mor kokilaa karat ror uthat man kalol dampati hiy hulasen ||
Govind prabhu sughar dou gaavat kedaaro raag taan atihee sarasen ||2||
