सखीरी मोहि हरिदरशन की चाय ॥ सांवरेसोंप्रीति बाढीलाखलोगरिसाय ॥१॥ स्यामसुंदरलोललोचन देख मन ललचाय ॥ सूरहरिके रंगराची सीसरहा केंजाय ॥२॥

सखीरी मोहि हरिदरशन की चाय ॥  
सांवरेसोंप्रीति बाढीलाखलोगरिसाय ॥१॥
O sakhi, I long for Hari’s darshan. My love for the dark-hued Lord keeps growing, even if countless people become displeased with me. ॥१॥

स्यामसुंदरलोललोचन देख मन ललचाय ॥  
सूरहरिके रंगराची सीसरहा केंजाय ॥२॥
Seeing Shyamsundar’s beautiful, restless eyes, my heart longs for Him. Surdas says: I am completely absorbed in Hari’s colour; whether my head remains or is lost, I do not care. ॥२॥
