संग त्रियन वन में खेलत रविजा-तट मुरलीधर मध्य रास नृत्यकला गुननिधान ।। सप्त सुरन तीन ग्राम बजाय लिये आरोही-अवरोही धरन मुरन सम प्रमान ॥१॥ प्रथम राग भेरव गाइये मन मोह लिये चलतें अचल भये अचल तें चल भये ।। मालकोस की तान ले ले बान बेधत प्रान राग हिंडोल मन कलोल मीठे बोल लेत मन मोल ॥२॥ मेघ ज्यों बरखत रस बुंदनि घुमडि बिरहिनि के मन हरे उमड ।। श्रीराग गावत नेन नचावत सोरठ गाइए हो सुंदर स्याम धुनि सुनि जागत तन मन काम ॥।३॥। नवल केदारो गावत राग लेत सुलप गति सुघर सुजान ।। व्रजाधीस प्रभु सरद रेन सुख विलास मदनमोहन पर वारों तन मन प्रान ॥४॥

संग त्रियन वन में खेलत रविजा-तट मुरलीधर मध्य रास नृत्यकला गुननिधान ।। सप्त सुरन तीन ग्राम बजाय लिये आरोही-अवरोही धरन मुरन सम प्रमान ॥१॥
In the forest on the Yamuna’s bank, Muralidhar enjoys his pastimes with the gopis. Amid the raas, he is a treasury of excellence in the art of dance. He plays the seven notes in the three gramas, ascending and descending, sustaining and turning the notes in proper measure. ॥१॥

प्रथम राग भेरव गाइये मन मोह लिये चलतें अचल भये अचल तें चल भये ।। मालकोस की तान ले ले बान बेधत प्रान राग हिंडोल मन कलोल मीठे बोल लेत मन मोल ॥२॥
First he sings Raga Bhairav, enchanting every heart: moving beings become still, and the motionless begin to move. His melodic phrases in Malkauns pierce the heart like arrows. Raga Hindol fills the heart with delight; his sweet words win it completely. ॥२॥

मेघ ज्यों बरखत रस बुंदनि घुमडि बिरहिनि के मन हरे उमड ।। श्रीराग गावत नेन नचावत सोरठ गाइए हो सुंदर स्याम धुनि सुनि जागत तन मन काम ॥।३॥।
Like gathering rain clouds, he showers drops of sweetness, captivating the hearts of those longing for him. He sings Shri Raga, his eyes dancing. “O beautiful Shyam, sing Sorath!” Hearing the melody, longing awakens in body and mind. ॥।३॥।

नवल केदारो गावत राग लेत सुलप गति सुघर सुजान ।। व्रजाधीस प्रभु सरद रेन सुख विलास मदनमोहन पर वारों तन मन प्रान ॥४॥
The graceful, accomplished one sings Kedar afresh, moving with delicate, expressive dance steps. The Lord of Vraj delights in joyful pastimes on the autumn night. I offer my body, heart, and life to Madanmohan. ॥४॥
