सारंगनयनीरी काहेको कियो एतो मान ॥ गोरी गहरु छांड मिल लालहिं मनक्रमवचन यातें होत कल्यान ॥१॥ जिन हठ कररी तू नटनागरसों भेरोंही देनगान ॥ मुरली तान कान्हरो गावत सुनलेरी कान ॥२॥ रंगरंगीली सुघरनायकी तू जियमें अडान ॥ नंददास केदारो करिकें योही विहाय गयो मान ॥३॥

सारंगनयनीरी काहेको कियो एतो मान ॥ गोरी गहरु छांड मिल लालहिं मनक्रमवचन यातें होत कल्यान ॥१॥
O deer-eyed one, why have you taken such offence? Fair one, give up your delay and meet Lal with your thoughts, deeds, and words; this brings well-being. ॥१॥

जिन हठ कररी तू नटनागरसों भैरोंही देनमान ॥ मुरली तान कान्हरो गावत सुनलेरी कान ॥२॥
Do not be stubborn with Natnagar; honour him with Bhairav. Listen, dear one: he plays melodic phrases on his flute and sings Kanada. ॥२॥

रंगरंगीली सुघरनायकी तू जियमें अडान ॥ नंददास केदारो करिकें योही विहाय गयो मान ॥३॥
You are full of joy and charm, a graceful leading lady, yet stubborn at heart. Nanddas says: with the rendering of Kedar, her displeasure passed away. ॥३॥
