शरद उजियारी कैसी नीकी लागै निकस कुंजतें ठाढ़े ॥ बरन बरन फूल फूलनके आभूषण सोंधे भींजे बागे ॥१॥ गावत राग रागिनिसों मिलि मन मिल्यौ जति केदारो रागे ॥ हरिदास के स्वामी स्यामा कुंजबिहारी कछुक रजनी जागे ॥२॥

शरद उजियारी कैसी नीकी लागै निकस कुंजतें ठाढ़े ॥
How beautiful the bright Sharad night appears, as They come out from the kunj and stand together.

बरन बरन फूल फूलनके आभूषण सोंधे भींजे बागे ॥१॥
They wear ornaments of flowers in many colours, and Their garments are steeped in sweet fragrance. ॥१॥

गावत राग रागिनिसों मिलि मन मिल्यौ जति केदारो रागे ॥
They sing together in raga and ragini; Their hearts are united as the melody of Raga Kedar flows.

हरिदास के स्वामी स्यामा कुंजबिहारी कछुक रजनी जागे ॥२॥
Haridas says: his Swami, Shyama and Kunjabihari, remain awake together for part of the night. ॥२॥

sharad ujiyaaree kaisee neekee laagai nikas kunjaten thaarhe ||
baran baran phool phoolanake aabhooshan sondhe bheenje baage ||1||

gaavat raag raaginison mili man milyau jati kedaaro raage ||
haridaas ke svaamee syaamaa kunjabihaaree kachhuk rajanee jaage ||2||
