शोभित कर नवनीत लियें । घुटुरुवन चलत रेंनु तन मंडित मुख दधि लेप कियें ॥१॥ चारु कपोल लोल लोचन छबि गोरोचनकौ तिलक दियें । लर लटकन मानों मत्त मधुप गन मादिक मधुहि पियें ॥२॥ कठुला कंठ वज्र केहरि नख राजत है सखी रुचिर हियें । धन्य सूर एकौ पल यहि सुख कहा भयौ शत कल्प जियें ॥३॥

शोभित कर नवनीत लियें । घुटुरुवन चलत रेंनु तन मंडित मुख दधि लेप कियें ॥१॥
He looks beautiful with fresh butter in His hand. Crawling on His knees, His body is adorned with dust, and His face is smeared with curd. ॥१॥

चारु कपोल लोल लोचन छबि गोरोचनकौ तिलक दियें । लर लटकन मानों मत्त मधुप गन मादिक मधुहि पियें ॥२॥
His lovely cheeks and restless eyes are beautiful, with a tilak of gorochan upon His forehead. His hanging curls seem like a swarm of intoxicated bees that have drunk sweet honey. ॥२॥

कठुला कंठ वज्र केहरि नख राजत है सखी रुचिर हियें । धन्य सूर एकौ पल यहि सुख कहा भयौ शत कल्प जियें ॥३॥
A kathula and a vajra-set tiger-claw ornament shine beautifully upon His neck and chest, O sakhi. Surdas says: blessed is even one moment of experiencing this joy; what is the use of living for a hundred kalpas without it? ॥३॥

shobhit kar navaneet liyen |
ghuturuvan chalat rennu tan mandit mukh dadhi lep kiyen ||1||

chaaru kapol lol lochan chhabi gorochanakau tilak diyen |
lar latakan maanon matt madhup gan maadik madhuhi piyen ||2||

kathulaa kanth vajr kehari nakh raajat hai sakhee ruchir hiyen |
dhany soor ekau pal yahi sukh kahaa bhayau shat kalp jiyen ||3||
