श्याम घटा उठी चहुंदिसतें बरसन लागो भारो ॥१॥ स्यामही पाग स्यामही पटका प्यारी जुको भीज्यो सालु कारो ॥ श्रीविट्ठल गिरिधरन लाल पर तन मन धन सब वारो ॥२॥

श्याम घटा उठी चहुंदिसतें बरसन लागो भारो ॥१॥
Dark rainclouds have risen on every side, and the rain has begun to pour heavily. ॥१॥

स्यामही पाग स्यामही पटका प्यारी जुको भीज्यो सालु कारो ॥ श्रीविट्ठल गिरिधरन लाल पर तन मन धन सब वारो ॥२॥
His turban is dark, and His sash is dark; Pyariji’s dark shawl is drenched. Shri Vitthal says: I offer body, mind, and wealth entirely to Giridhar Lal. ॥२॥

shyaam ghataa uthee chahundisaten barasan laago bhaaro ||1||

syaamahee paag syaamahee patakaa pyaaree juko bheejyo saalu kaaro ||
Shreevitthal giridharan laal par tan man dhan sab vaaro ||2||
