स्याममाई श्वेत परदनी पहेरे ॥ टेढी पाग शिर मोर पखौवा बांधे हेरे ॥१॥ नवल निकुंज पुष्प शय्या रची छीरक्यो गुलाबजल गहेरे ॥ मुरारीदास प्रभु चंदनको लेप कीयो पवन चलत जब हेरे ॥२॥

स्याममाई श्वेत परदनी पहेरे ॥ टेढी पाग शिर मोर पखौवा बांधे हेरे ॥१॥
Mother, Shyam wears a white waistcloth. Look at the turban set at an angle upon his head, adorned with peacock feathers. ॥१॥

नवल निकुंज पुष्प शय्या रची छीरक्यो गुलाबजल गहेरे ॥ मुरारीदास प्रभु चंदनको लेप कीयो पवन चलत जब हेरे ॥२॥
In the fresh bower, a bed of flowers has been prepared and generously sprinkled with rosewater. Muraridas’s Lord is anointed with sandalwood paste; a breeze blows as I behold him. ॥२॥
