सीतल खरन बाहु भुज बलमें जमुनातीर गोकुल ब्रज महीयां ॥ सीतल पान खरी सुध चरनन नित्य दुध जटी अति जतन कहीयां ॥१॥ गोवर्धन अरु वृंदावन तरुवर सीतल छैयां ॥ जन घूमत दध मथना सीतल पीवत गोरसको घैयां ॥२॥ सोवत तें जागत मनमोहन अखीयां सीतल करत कन्हैया ॥ गोपीजन नेंनके भागन सीत बसो व्रज हलधर भैया ॥३॥ निरख सीतल ब्रजवास निरख मुख मंगल मूरत जसोदा मैया ॥ परमानंद सीतल सरसाने वदन कमलकी लेत बलैया ॥४॥

सीतल खरन बाहु भुज बलमें जमुनातीर गोकुल ब्रज महीयां ॥ सीतल पान खरी सुध चरनन नित्य दुध जटी अति जतन कहीयां ॥१॥
Krishna brings soothing comfort to Gokul and the land of Vraj beside the Yamuna. Each day, great care is taken to keep him comfortable with cooling refreshments, fragrant pastes, and a light cloth covering. ॥१॥

गोवर्धन अरु वृंदावन तरुवर सीतल छैयां ॥ जन घूमत दध मथना सीतल पीवत गोरसको घैयां ॥२॥
At Govardhan and Vrindavan, the trees give cool shade. People churn the cool curd and drink their fill of fresh milk. ॥२॥

सोवत तें जागत मनमोहन अखीयां सीतल करत कन्हैया ॥ गोपीजन नेंनके भागन सीत बसो व्रज हलधर भैया ॥३॥
Manmohan awakens from sleep, and the sight of Kanhaiya brings comfort to everyone’s eyes. O brother of Haladhar, live happily in Vraj, blessing the gopis with the joy of seeing you. ॥३॥

निरख सीतल ब्रजवास निरख मुख मंगल मूरत जसोदा मैया ॥ परमानंद सीतल सरसाने वदन कमलकी लेत बलैया ॥४॥
The people of Vraj feel comforted when they see him. Mother Yashoda, too, finds joy and peace in his auspicious face. Paramanand is filled with soothing delight and offers himself in loving admiration of that lotus face. ॥४॥
