सोहिलो सुहायो आज ॥ घरघर मंगल होत अवधपुर भयेहें मनोरथ काज ॥१॥ फूली फिरत सुवासिन दाई अति आनंद महाराज ॥ रघुकुल तिलक भानुव्है आये तुलसीदास शिरताज ॥२॥

सोहिलो सुहायो आज ॥
घरघर मंगल होत अवधपुर भयेहें मनोरथ काज ॥१॥
Today the auspicious birth-song sounds beautiful. In every home throughout Ayodhyapuri there is celebration, for the cherished wish has been fulfilled. ॥१॥

फूली फिरत सुवासिन दाई अति आनंद महाराज ॥
रघुकुल तिलक भानुव्है आये तुलसीदास शिरताज ॥२॥
The married women and the attendants move about overflowing with joy, while Maharaj is filled with immense happiness. The crown-jewel of the Raghu lineage has appeared like the radiant sun. Tulsidas bows his head before Him. ॥२॥

gharaghar mangal hot avadhapur bhayehen manorath kaaj ||1||

phoolee phirat suvaasin daaee ati aanand mahaaraaj ||
raghukul tilak bhaanuvhai aaye tulaseedaas shirataaj ||2||
