टेरहो टेर कदंब चढ दूरजातहें गैयां ॥ तुह्मारी टेर सुनत बगदेंगी पाछें पीजे धैयाँ ॥१॥ झटकत रई पतूखी फारत घावत नंददुहैयां ॥ हमतें बहुत तिहारे गोधन हसत कहाहो भैया ॥२॥ आज हमारी घिरतन-घेरी उतहीकों जातहें धैया ॥ रामदासप्रभुपर हूँकत आंई  हेरी देत कन्हैया ॥३॥

टेरहो टेर कदंब चढ दूरजातहें गैयां ॥  
तुह्मारी टेर सुनत बगदेंगी पाछें पीजे धैयाँ ॥१॥
Climb the kadamba tree and call out—the cows are going far away. When they hear Your call, they will turn back and come running toward You. ॥१॥

झटकत रई पतूखी फारत घावत नंददुहैयां ॥  
हमतें बहुत तिहारे गोधन हसत कहाहो भैया ॥२॥
They come rushing back, pushing through and breaking the leafy branches. Laughing, the cowherd boys say, “Brother, Your cows are too many for us to manage!” ॥२॥

आज हमारी घिरतन-घेरी उतहीकों जातहें धैया ॥  
रामदासप्रभुपर हूँकत आंई  हेरी देत कन्हैया ॥३॥
“Today, even though we keep surrounding and turning them back, the cows still keep going in that direction.” Ramdas says: lowing aloud, they come back toward the Lord, while Kanhaiya watches over them. ॥३॥

teraho ter kadamb chadh doorajaatahen gaiyaan ||
tuhmaaree ter sunat bagadengee paachhen peeje dhaiyaan ||1||

jhatakat raee patookhee phaarat ghaavat nandaduhaiyaan ||
hamaten bahut tihaare godhan hasat kahaaho bhaiyaa ||2||

aaj hamaaree ghiratan-gheree utaheekon jaatahen dhaiyaa ||
raamadaasaprabhupar hoonkat aanee  heree det kanhaiyaa ||3||
