तेरेरी लाल मेरो माखन खायो ॥ भरदुपहरीलखसूनोघर ढोरढंढोर अबही उठधायो ॥१॥ खोलकिवार अकेले मंदिर दूधदह्योसबलरकन खायो ॥ छीकेतेंकाढ खाटचढमोहन कछूखायो कछुभूढरकायो ॥२॥ नित्यप्रतिहानि कहाँलोंसहिये यहढोटा ऐसे ढंग लायो ॥ परमानंद रानीतुमबरजो पूत अनोखोतेंही जायो ॥३॥

तेरेरीलालमेरोमाखनखायो ॥ भरदुपहरीलखसूनोघर ढोरढंढोर अबही उठधायो ॥१॥
“O Yashoda, your dear son has eaten my butter! In the middle of the afternoon, seeing my house empty, that mischievous boy came rushing in just now.” ॥१॥

खोलकिवार अकेले मंदिर दूधदह्योसबलरकन खायो ॥ छीकेतेंकाढ खाटचढमोहन कछूखायो कछुभूढरकायो ॥२॥
“He opened the door and entered the empty house. He and the other boys ate all the milk and curd. Mohan climbed onto a cot, took the food down from the hanging storage basket, ate some of it, and spilled the rest on the floor.” ॥२॥

नित्यप्रतिहानि कहाँलोंसहिये यहढोटा ऐसे ढंग लायो ॥ परमानंद रानीतुमबरजो पूत अनोखोतेंही जायो ॥३॥
“How long must I bear these losses every day? This boy has developed such mischievous habits! Parmanand says, ‘O Queen Yashoda, please correct Your son. You have given birth to a truly unusual child!’” ॥३॥

nityapratihaani kahaanlonsahiye yahadhotaa aise dhang laayo ||
