उत्तमकुल अवतार कहा जो श्रीवल्लभकुमार न जान्यो ॥ चरचा न कीनी वरवल्लभकी रचि पाखंडकियो बहुबानो ॥१॥ रसिक कथासुनीनहीं श्रवणन रह्यो विषयरसही लपटानो ॥ सोच मिट्यो नहीं उर अंतरको समझ समझ लाग्यो पछतानो ॥२॥ गिरिगोवर्धन व्रजवृंदावन कबहुं नयनन निरख सिरानो ॥ कृष्णदास प्रभुकी गुणमहिमा अगम निगम नहि जात बखानो ॥३॥

उत्तमकुल अवतार कहा जो श्रीवल्लभकुमार न जान्यो ॥ चरचा न कीनी वरवल्लभकी रचि पाखंडकियो बहुबानो ॥१॥
What is the use of being born in a noble family if one has not known Shri Vallabhkumar? One did not speak of the revered Vallabh, but instead became absorbed in many forms of hypocrisy. ॥१॥
रसिक कथासुनीनहीं श्रवणन रह्यो विषयरसही लपटानो ॥ सोच मिट्यो नहीं उर अंतरको समझ समझ लाग्यो पछतानो ॥२॥
The ears never listened to rasik kathā, but remained attached only to worldly pleasures. The sorrow within the heart did not go away; on understanding this, one began to regret it deeply. ॥२॥
गिरिगोवर्धन व्रजवृंदावन कबहुं नयनन निरख सिरानो ॥ कृष्णदास प्रभुकी गुणमहिमा अगम निगम नहि जात बखानो ॥३॥
The eyes never found fulfilment by beholding Giriraj Govardhan, Vraj, and Vrindavan. Krishnadas says: the greatness of Prabhu’s virtues is beyond reach; even the Vedas cannot fully describe it. ॥३॥

uttamakul avataar kahaa jo Shreevallabhakumaar na jaanyo ||
charachaa na keenee varavallabhakee rachi paakhandakiyo bahubaano ||1||

rasik kathaasuneenaheen shravanan rahyo vishayarasahee lapataano ||
soch mityo naheen ur antarako samajh samajh laagyo pachhataano ||2||

girigovardhan vrajavrindaavan kabahun nayanan nirakh siraano ||
krishnadaas prabhukee gunamahimaa agam nigam nahi jaat bakhaano ||3||
