वृन्दावन लाल ललना संग झूले ॥ श्याम तरुनिजा तट हिंडोरना श्याम अंग दुहुं फुलें ॥१॥ श्याम द्रुम ठोरठोर देखीयत श्याम कुसुम सब फूले ॥ सूर श्याम छबि यों राजतहें उपमा नही समतूले ॥२॥

वृन्दावन लाल ललना संग झूले ॥
The Lord of Vrindavan swings together with His beloved. ॥

श्याम तरुनिजा तट हिंडोरना श्याम अंग दुहुं फुलें ॥१॥
Upon the banks of the Yamuna, the two dark-hued ones swing on the hindoro, their forms blossoming with joy. ॥१॥

श्याम द्रुम ठोरठोर देखीयत श्याम कुसुम सब फूले ॥
Dark trees are seen everywhere, and all the dark-coloured flowers have blossomed. ॥

सूर श्याम छबि यों राजतहें उपमा नही समतूले ॥२॥
Sur says: Shyam’s beauty shines in such a way that there is no equal comparison for it. ॥2॥

vrindaavan laal lalanaa sang jhoole ||
shyaam tarunijaa tat hindoranaa shyaam ang duhun phulen ||1||

shyaam drum thorathor dekheeyat shyaam kusum sab phoole ||
soor shyaam chhabi yon raajatahen upamaa nahee samatoole ||2||
