यह तन कमल नैन पर वारों सामलिया मोहि भावैरी । चरन कमलकी रेंनु यशोदा लै लै शीश चढ़ावैरी ॥१॥ लै उछंग मुख निरखन लागी राई लौन उतारै । कौन निरासी दृष्टि लगाई लै लै अंचल झारै ॥२॥ तू मेरो बालक यदुनंदन तोहि विश्वंभर राखै । परमानंददास चिरजीवौ बारबार यों भाखै ॥३॥

यह तन कमल | Yah Tan Kamal

(राग बिलावल | Raga Bilaval)

यह तन कमल नैन पर वारों सामलिया मोहि भावैरी । चरन कमलकी रेंनु यशोदा लै लै शीश चढ़ावैरी ॥१॥
I offer this body to the lotus-eyed One; this dark-hued One is dear to me. Yashoda repeatedly takes the dust of His lotus feet and places it upon her head. ॥१॥

लै उछंग मुख निरखन लागी राई लौन उतारै । कौन निरासी दृष्टि लगाई लै लै अंचल झारै ॥२॥
Taking Him into her lap, she gazes upon His face and wards off the evil eye with mustard seeds and salt. “Who has cast an inauspicious glance upon Him?” she says, repeatedly brushing Him with the end of her garment. ॥२॥

तू मेरो बालक यदुनंदन तोहि विश्वंभर राखै । परमानंददास चिरजीवौ बारबार यों भाखै ॥३॥
“You are my child, Yadunandan; may Vishvambhar protect You.” Parmananddas says that she repeatedly speaks thus: “May You live long.” ॥३॥

yah tan kamal nain par vaaron saamaliyaa mohi bhaavairee |
charan kamalakee rennu Yashodaa lai lai sheesh charhaavairee ||1||

lai uchhang mukh nirakhan laagee raaee laun utaarai |
kaun niraasee drishti lagaaee lai lai anchal jhaarai ||2||

too mero baalak yadunandan tohi vishvambhar raakhai |
Paramaanand-daas chirajeevau baarabaar yon bhaakhai ||3||
