ये बंसी नाद सुर साधिकें बजाई प्रवीन कान्ह सात सुर सोधकें मधुर धुनि ॥ घरी घरी घूमत सुध न रही कछु कल न परै मेरे तन मन ॥१॥ ब्याकुल भई कल नांहि परत सुनत तत छिन गई हों मधुवन ॥ धीरजके प्रभु जनम सुफल भई निरखत श्रीनंदनंदन ॥२॥

ये बंसी नाद सुर साधिकें बजाई प्रवीन कान्ह सात सुर सोधकें मधुर धुनि ॥
The accomplished Kanh plays this Bansi with perfect command of its sound and melody, bringing forth all seven notes in a sweet tune.

घरी घरी घूमत सुध न रही कछु कल न परै मेरे तन मन ॥१॥
At every moment my head reels; I have lost all awareness, and my body and mind find no rest. ॥१॥

ब्याकुल भई कल नांहि परत सुनत तत छिन गई हों मधुवन ॥
Becoming restless and finding no peace, the very moment I heard it, I went to Madhuvan.

धीरजके प्रभु जनम सुफल भई निरखत श्रीनंदनंदन ॥२॥
Dhiraj says: beholding Shri Nandanandan, my life has become fruitful. ॥२॥

ye bansee naad sur saadhiken bajaaee praveen kaanh saat sur sodhaken madhur dhuni ||
gharee gharee ghoomat sudh na rahee kachhu kal na parai mere tan man ||1||

byaakul bhaee kal naanhi parat sunat tat chhin gaee hon madhuvan ||
dheerajake prabhu janam suphal bhaee nirakhat Shreenandanandan ||2||
