सखीरी देख शोभावनकी ॥ इत मोहन मधुर मुख मुरली उत गरजन नवघनकी ॥१॥
O sakhi, behold this beautiful sight: here is Mohan’s sweet face and flute, and there is the rumbling of the fresh rainclouds. ॥१॥
उतही श्याम बादर सोहत इत राजत सामल तनकी ॥ उत बग पांति हीरावली मुक्ता गिरिधर गरें लसनकी ॥२॥
There the dark clouds shine, and here His dark-hued form shines. There are rows of white herons, and here the pearl necklace gleams upon Giridhar’s neck. ॥२॥
इतही रुचिर वनमाल बनी उर उतही रहेन इन्द्र धनुकी ॥ उत दामिनी चपला चमकत इत फरकनि पीत वसनकी ॥३॥
Here the lovely vanamala rests upon His chest, and there appears the rainbow. There the lightning flashes brightly, and here His yellow garment flutters. ॥३॥
उत धुरवा इत धातु विचित्र रुचि सुभग श्रीअंग लसनकी ॥ उत बूंदे द्रुमवेली सींचत इत प्रेमनीर बरखन की ॥४॥
There the rain-streams fall, and here His beautiful limbs shine with the charm of varied colors. There the raindrops water the trees and creepers, and here the waters of love pour down. ॥४॥
अति आनंद निरख दोऊ सुख गावत विहंग मगनकी ॥ चतुर्भुज प्रभु गिरिधरन रसिकवर करि विनती बिलसनकी ॥५॥
Beholding both brings great joy, and the birds sing in glad delight. Chaturbhuj offers this humble prayer to Prabhu Giridhar, the foremost rasika. ॥५॥
