MEANING
जोपें श्रीविठ्ठल रूप न धरते ॥तो केसेंके घोर कलियुग के महापतित निस्तरते ॥१॥If He had not assumed the form of Shri Vitthal, then how could the greatly fallen souls of this terrible Kaliyug have been delivered? ॥१॥सेवारीति प्रीति व्रजजनकी श्रीमुखतें विस्तरते ॥श्रीविठ्ठलनाम अमृत जिन लीनों रसना सरस सुफलते ॥२॥From His own Shri Mukh, He revealed the ways of seva and the loving devotion of the people of Vraj. Those whose tongues have tasted the nectar of Shri Vitthal’s Name become filled with sweetness, and their lives bear fruit. ॥२॥कीरतिविशद सुनी जिन श्रवणन विषय विष परहरते ॥Those whose ears have heard His pure and glorious praise are freed from the poison of worldly pleasures.गोविंद बल दर्शन जिनपायो उमगउमग रसभरते ॥३॥Govind says: those who have received the blessing of His darshan overflow again and again with rasa. ॥३॥
