MEANING
आगे गाय पाछें गाय इत गाय उत गाय गोविंद को गायन में वसवोई भावे ॥ गायन के संग धावे गायनमें सचुपावे गायन कीखुर रेणु अंग लपटावे ॥१॥Cows in front, cows behind, cows on this side and that—Govind loves to dwell among the cows. He runs with them, finds happiness among them, and lets the dust raised by their hooves cover His body. ॥१॥गायनसों व्रजछायो वैकुंठ विसरायो गायन के हेत कर गिरिले उठावे छीतस्वामी गिरिधारी विट्ठलेश वपुधारी ग्यारियाको भेख धरें गायनमें आवे ॥२॥Vraj is filled with cows, and even Vaikunth is forgotten; for the sake of the cows, He lifted the mountain with His hand. Chhitswami says: Giridhari, who has taken the form of Vitthalesh, comes among the cows dressed as a cowherd. ॥२॥
