आज आनंद भरी डोलत जुवती जन वीथन मंगल गावे ॥विविध भांत भूखन पहरे तन नव सिंगार बनावे ॥१॥Today the young women move joyfully through the lanes, singing auspicious songs. They wear many kinds of ornaments and adorn themselves in fresh shringar. ॥१॥गृह गृहतें निकसी मिलि युवती प्रफुल्लित तनमन मोद बढावे ॥अंग अंग रस रंग उमगि अति भवन लालके आवे ॥२॥The young women come out from their homes and gather together, their hearts and faces bright with increasing joy. Filled in every limb with joyful rasa and delight, they come eagerly to Lala’s home. ॥२॥आंगन आय भर्यो चहुं औरतें निरखि निरखि लालन सुख पावे ॥Arriving in the courtyard, they fill it on every side; gazing again and again upon Lala, they find great happiness.यह उत्सव परम सुखद सुख वल्लभके मन भावे ॥३॥This celebration brings supreme happiness and is deeply pleasing to Vallabh’s heart. ॥३॥
