बेठे झूलत दंपति सांवन सुहायो ॥ पियशिरपाग लटपटी राजत शिखी स्तबक मन भायो ॥१॥
The Divine Couple sits and swings; the monsoon season looks beautiful. Upon the Beloved’s head, the turban with its graceful folds shines, adorned with a peacock-feather cluster that delights the heart. ॥१॥
प्यारी पहेरें सारी सोसनी सीस फूल छबि पायो ॥ रसिकदास प्रभु रसवश व्हे रहे मुरली कलरव राग सुनायो ॥२॥
The Beloved wears a beautiful sari and a head-flower, gaining a lovely appearance. Rasikdas, absorbed in divine joy, remains there, listening to the melody of the flute’s sweet sound. ॥२॥
