MEANING
दीपदानदे श्याम मनोहर सब गायनके कान जगावत ॥गांग बुलाई धूमर धौरी ऊँचे लेले नाम बुलावत ॥१॥After offering the lamps, Shyam Manohar goes to awaken all the cows. He calls the herd together, loudly calling Dhumar and Dhauri by name. ॥१॥होउ सचेत भोरखेलनकों दोरी आवत नेंक सुनावत ॥सन्मुख जाय कूंकमारतहें मुख पर फेर पिछोरी धावत ॥२॥“Wake up! It is dawn—the time for play has come.” Hearing His gentle call, they come running. Going before them, He calls out loudly and runs along, waving His pichhauri before them. ॥२॥मुदित गोपाल ओर ग्वाल मिल जाको बछरा ताहि मिलावत ॥Gopal and the Gopas joyfully work together, bringing each cow together with her own calf.चत्रभुजप्रभु गिरिधरन डाढ सुन हँस गावत करताल बजावत ॥३॥Chaturbhuj says: hearing Giridhar Prabhu among the gathered herd, they smile and sing, clapping their hands in rhythm. ॥३॥दीपदानदे श्याम मनोहर सब गायनके कान जगावत ॥गांग बुलाई धूमर धौरी ऊँचे लेले नाम बुलावत ॥१॥After offering the lamps, Shyam Manohar goes to awaken all the cows.
