MEANING
देखोमाई भीजत रसभरे दोऊ ॥ नंदनंदन वृषभान नंदनी होडपरीहे जोऊ ॥१॥Mother, behold the two, filled with joyful rasa, getting drenched in the rain. Nandanandan and Vrishabhanu’s daughter have entered into a playful contest with one another. ॥१॥सुरंग चुनरी श्यामाजुकी भीजतहे रस भारी ॥ गिरिधर पाग उपरना भीज्यो या छबि उपरवारी ॥२॥Syamaju’s beautifully colored chunari is thoroughly drenched, and Giridhar’s turban and upper cloth are soaked as well. I offer myself to this beautiful sight. ॥२॥वातही वात होडभई भारी ललितादिक समुजावें ॥ दोऊ मिल झगरत मानत नही सखी सब बुंद बचावें ॥३॥From playful words, the contest grew intense, and Lalita and the others tried to calm them. The two kept playfully arguing and would not give in, while all the sakhis tried to shield them from the raindrops. ॥३॥तब मोहन हारे शीरनाये हँसी सकल व्रजनारी ॥ परमानंद प्रभु यह विध क्रीडत या सुखकी बलिहारी ॥४॥At last Mohan accepted defeat and bowed His head, and all the women of Vraj laughed with joy. Parmanand says: Prabhu sports in this way, and I offer myself to the joy of this lila. ॥४॥
