कहा ओछीह्वैजैहैजात ॥ सुनयशुमति तुमबडरन आगेंजोछिन एक बितात ॥१॥ Why should my family’s honour be lowered by this? Listen, Yashomati—what is wrong if I spend a little time in the company of respectable elders like you? ॥१॥अतिनीको सतभावभलाई जो यातनतेकीजे ॥ मायबापको नामलिवावत लोकमांझ यशलीजे ॥२॥ Show me at least this much sincere kindness. By doing so, you will uphold the good name of your parents and earn respect among the people. ॥२॥सासननद और पारपरोसन हँस बहु भांतकह्यो ॥ तौहूमोहि तिहारेघरबिन नाहिन परत रह्यो ॥३॥ My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and the neighbouring women laugh at me and say many things; even so, I cannot bear to stay away from your house. ॥३॥बोललेहो संकोचकरो जिनजबतुमसुतहि न्हवावो ॥ श्रीविट्ठलगिरिधरलालको मोहीपें उबटावो ॥४॥ So please call me without hesitation whenever you bathe your son.
