MEANING
किसोरी अंग अंग भेटी स्याम ही ॥ कृष्ण तमाल तरल भुज साखा लटकि मिलि जैसे दामि दाम हि ॥१॥Kishori remains close beside Shyam, their forms beautifully together. Krishna’s graceful arms are like the branches of a tamal tree, with a delicate creeper resting upon them. ॥१॥अरज इक लता गिरि उपजे सो दीने करुना महि ॥ कछुक स्यामल गिरि की छायो कनक अगामही ॥२॥It is as though a tender creeper has grown upon the mountain and been lovingly sheltered there. The golden form appears gently shaded by the dark mountain. ॥२॥गिरिवरधरन सुरत रति नायक रति जीतें संग्राम हि ॥ 'सूर' कहे यह उभय सुभट बीच क्यों जू बसे रिपु काम ही ॥२॥Girivardhar is the foremost Lord of loving rasa, victorious in the realm of love. Sur says: when these two noble ones stand together, how could Kamadev, their rival, remain between them? ॥२॥
