ओट्यो दूध सीरो कर राख्यो ॥ तामें मधुर मलाई अधिक रुचि गिरिधरलाल स्वादसों चाख्यो ॥१॥

The milk has been boiled and kept aside to cool. Sweet, rich cream has been added to it, and Giridhar Lal tastes it with great delight, enjoying its delicious flavour. ॥१॥

पूछत कहां ते लाई सांझ समे धोरी दुही राख्यो 'श्री विट्ठल गिरिधरनलाल' सो प्रेम प्रीतसों हँस हँस चाख्यो ॥२॥

Giridhar Lal asks, “Where did you bring this milk from?” The reply comes, “I milked the light-coloured cow in the evening and kept the milk ready.” Shri Vitthal says that Giridhar Lal lovingly tastes the milk, smiling again and again with affection and delight. ॥२॥
