MEANING
प्रकटे श्रीहरिराय श्रीकल्याण रायके धाम ।।श्रीवृन्दावनचंद मनोहर रास रसिक लीला अभिराम ।।१।।Shri Harirai has appeared in the home of Shri Kalyanrai. He is the enchanting moon of Shri Vrindavan, a rasika of Raas, whose Leelas are delightful. ।।१।।लिये बोल द्विज निज कुल प्रोहित करत वेद विधि मन विश्राम ।।देव पितर नांदीमुख पूजत जोरत कर शिर नाम ।।२।।Brahmins and the family priest are called, and they perform the Vedic rites, bringing contentment to the heart. The devas, ancestors, and Nandimukha ancestors are worshipped with folded hands and bowed heads. ।।२।।बाजत बीन मृदंग बांसुरी नृत्य करत हिलमिल सब वाम ।।गान करत मन मगन भई अति निशवासर बिसरी सब वाम ।।३।।Veenas, mridangs, and flutes resound, while all the women joyfully gather and dance together. Singing with hearts deeply absorbed in joy, they forget all awareness of night and day. ।।३।।ध्वजापताका तोरणमाला अगर चंदन घसि लिये ठाम ।।किये अयाचक सकल गुनीनकों धेनु धाम दीने मणि ग्राम ।।४।।Flags, banners, and garlands of torans adorn the place, fragrant with agar and freshly ground sandalwood. All the worthy people are given so abundantly that none remains in need; cows, homes, jewels, and villages are bestowed upon them. ।।४।।देत अशीश सदाजीवो यह वसो श्रीगोकुलगाम ।।करो सदा दृढ रतिपथ निजहित पतित पावन इनको हे नाम ।।५।।They give their blessing: “May You live long and always dwell here in Shri Gokul. For the welfare of Your own devotees, always firmly establish the path of loving devotion.” He is known as the purifier of the fallen. ।।५।।सुजस बखान सकत नहीं इनकों रटत शेष मुख अनुदिन जाम ।।सुमरण मात्र सकल अघ भाजत सेवत सकल होत मनकाम ।।६।।His glorious praise cannot be fully described, though Shesha recites it with all his mouths day and night. By merely remembering Him, all sins flee away; by serving Him, all cherished wishes are fulfilled. ।।६।।अति उदार कल्पतरु जनकी मेटतहे भुविधाम ।।रसिकदास अति दीन हीन मति वारंवार करत प्रणाम ।।७।।He is exceedingly generous, a wish-fulfilling tree for His devotees, removing their suffering in this world. Rasikdas, exceedingly humble and of little understanding, bows before Him again and again. ।।७।।
