MEANING
श्रीकल्याणराय घर प्रकटे श्रीहरिराय महारसरूप ।।आश्विन कृष्ण पंचमी शुभदिन रसिकराय मन आनंद रूप ।।१।।Shri Harirai, the very form of Maha-rasa, appeared in the home of Shri Kalyanrai. On the auspicious fifth day of the dark fortnight of Ashvin, Rasikrai appeared as the very form of joy. ।।१।।बाजत मंगलचार बधाई झांझ मृदंग ढोल सहनाई ।।नरनारी सब निर्तत आंई गावत गीत आनंद बधाई ।।२।।Auspicious sounds of celebration resound—jhanjhs, mridangs, dhols, and shehnais are played. Men and women all come dancing, singing joyful songs of celebration. ।।२।।सुन धाये द्विज गणिक गुनीजन द्वार भई अति भीर ।।देत सबन मन पूरण करकें गो धन भूषणचीर ।।३।।Hearing the news, Brahmins, astrologers, and learned people hurry there, and a great crowd gathers at the doorway. Fulfilling each one’s wishes, He gives cows, wealth, ornaments, and garments to all. ।।३।।देत अशीश चले घरघर प्रति सदा जीयो यह बाल ।।रसिकदासकों शरण राखिये मेटिये भव जंजाल ।।४।।Giving their blessings, they return to their homes, saying, “May this child live forever.” Rasikdas prays: “Keep me in Your shelter and remove the entanglements of worldly existence.” ।।४।।
