MEANING
प्रथम पुत्र प्रकट भये श्रीगिरिधर धर्मी स्वरूप षट् धर्मन सहित महा श्रीविठ्ठलेश धाम ॥As the first son, Shri Giridhar appeared in the home of the great Shri Vitthalesh, embodying the divine form endowed with all six attributes.चहुँदिश अति होत बधाई बाजत मुरली सहनाई साज सिंगार षोडषतन गावत व्रज भाम ॥१॥Great rejoicing spreads in every direction; the murali and shehnai resound, while the women of Vraj, adorned in the sixteen shringars, sing songs of celebration. ॥१॥ध्वजा पताका तोरनादि अगर धूप अति सुगंध फेलि रह्यो ठांव ठांव हरखत सब गाम ॥Flags, banners, torans, and other decorations are displayed, while the rich fragrance of agar and incense spreads everywhere, filling the whole village with joy.नाचत सब नरनारी विहसत कर देत तारी बाजतहें थारी सकल कहेत जयजय नाम ॥२॥All the men and women dance joyfully, smiling and clapping their hands; ceremonial plates resound, and everyone cries, “Jaya! Jaya!” ॥२॥अति उदार महा दयाल जयति दुःख दूर करन देत दान निजजनकों पूरन करि काम ॥Victory to the supremely generous and greatly compassionate One, who removes sorrow, bestows gifts upon His own devotees, and fulfils their wishes.रसिकदास अतिहीं दीन ताहि अनतनाहि ठोर करुणामय प्रभु दीजिये चरणनतर ठाम ॥३॥Rasikdas is utterly humble and has no other refuge. O compassionate Prabhu, please grant him a place at Your feet. ॥३॥
