MEANING
सब मिल गावत राग हिंडोल बाजे बजावत घन सुं बरसे मिलि बधावन चली बसन्त ॥All gather together and sing Rāga Hiṇḍola, while the instruments are played. Together they go to welcome Vasant, with clouds pouring down rain.बरन-बरन आभरन पहेरे नौतन हाथ लिये गडुवा चलत चाल गजगंत ॥१॥They wear ornaments of many colors, carry fresh vessels in their hands, and walk with the graceful gait of elephants. ॥१॥एकजु नाचत देती सुधंग लाग दाट उरप तिरप दूर जाई सो मिलि पोहोप मंजरी भर केसर कुमकुमा अबीर छिरकती ॥One dances, giving the proper rhythm; some move near and some move far. Gathering together, they fill flower clusters with saffron, kuṅkum, and abīr and sprinkle them.चिरजीयो 'तानसेन' के प्रभु राजा राम देत मुक्ताहल नग कचन बरखत खतपति ॥May Tansen’s Prabhu, King Rām, live forever; the lord of the earth showers pearls, jewels, and gold.
