खेलत वसंत वरविट्ठलेश ॥ आनंदकंद गोकुल सुदेस ॥धृ०॥The excellent Viṭṭhaleś is playing in the spring, the source of joy, in beautiful Gokul. ॥धृ०॥श्रीगिरिधर गोविंद संग ॥ श्रीबालकृष्ण लज्जित अनंग ॥ श्री गोकुलनाथ अनाथ नाथ ॥ रघुनाथ नवल जदुनाथ साथ ॥१॥Shri Giridhar plays together with Shri Govind. Shri Bālakṛṣṇa makes Ananga feel humbled. Shri Gokulnāth is the Lord of the helpless. Shri Raghunāth, the fresh and youthful Shri Jadunāth, is with Him. ॥१॥श्रीघनस्याम अभिराम धाम ॥ कल्यानराय परिपूरनकाम ॥ मुरलीधर आदि समस्त बाल ॥ सेवक विचित्र सेवा रसाल ॥२॥Shri Ghanshyām is the beautiful abode of joy. Shri Kalyāṇarāy is completely fulfilled. Shri Muralīdhar and all the other young forms are there. The sevaks perform many kinds of seva, filled with sweetness. ॥२॥तहां बाजत ताल मृदंग चंग ॥ जहां उडत गुलाल अबीर रंग ॥ श्रीगिरिवरधारी जहां खेलत आई ॥ तहां लघुगुपाल बलिहारी जाई ॥३॥There the tāla, mṛdaṅga, and chang are being played, while gulāl, abīr, and colored powders fly through the air. Wherever Shri Girivardhārī comes to play, there Laghugopāl offers himself completely to Him. ॥३॥
