MEANING
श्रीविठ्ठलेश धाम आज अतिही सुहायो ॥रानी श्रीरुक्मिणीने गोविंद सुत जायो ॥१॥Today the abode of Shri Vitthalesh looks exceedingly beautiful. Queen Shri Rukmini has given birth to her son, Govind. ॥१॥पायो अति दुर्लभ फल देख मात फूले ॥करत बधाई चार मंगल अनुकूले ॥२॥The mother rejoices on receiving this most precious blessing. Joyful congratulations are offered, and all is filled with auspiciousness. ॥२॥बाढ्योहे आनंद चहुंदिश गावत सब नारी ॥नाचत सब मगन भई देह सुधि बिसारी ॥३॥Joy increases in every direction as all the women sing. They dance in such happiness that they forget all awareness of themselves. ॥३॥पतित पावन कीये सबही कीर्ति जग छाई ॥रसिकदास शरणागति आयो राख्यो गहि बांही ॥४॥He has purified the fallen, and His glory has spread throughout the world. Rasikdas has come seeking refuge; taking him by the arm, He has kept him under His protection. ॥४॥
