MEANING
श्रीविट्ठलनाथ धाम अति आनंद प्रकटे श्रीरघुनाथ हो ॥सुन धाये नर नारि मुदित मन ले समाज सब साथ हो ॥१॥There is immense joy in the home of Shri Vitthalnath, for Shri Raghunath has appeared. Hearing the news, men and women hurry there with joyful hearts, bringing their companions with them. ॥१॥गावत मंगल गीत बधाई छिरकत दधि घृत क्षीरहो ॥देह गेह भूले मन फूले नृत्य करत भूज भीरहो ॥२॥They sing auspicious songs of celebration and sprinkle curd, ghee, and milk. Forgetting all thought of themselves and their homes, their hearts blossom with joy as the gathered crowds dance with raised arms. ॥२॥बाजत झांझ पखावज बीना बिच मुरली कलघोर हो ॥सुरपुर देव दुंदुंभी बाजत बरखत कुसुमन झोरहो ॥३॥Jhanjhs, pakhavajs, and veenas resound, with the sweet, deep sound of the Murali among them. In the celestial realm the devas sound their dundubhis and shower down streams of flowers. ॥३॥स्तुति कर जोरि करत ब्रह्मा शिव शेष न पावत पार हो ॥धन्य भाग्य या धरिणी तलके प्रकटे श्रीनंदकुमार हो ॥४॥Brahma and Shiva offer praise, while even Shesha cannot reach the limit of His glory. Blessed is the fortune of this earth, for Shri Nandakumar has appeared upon it. ॥४॥धन्य द्वादशी धन्य शुभ मुहुरत धन्य कार्तिक सुदिमानहो ॥धन्य शरण आवेंगे जे जन तिनके भाग्य निधान हो ॥५॥Blessed is this Dwadashi, blessed this auspicious hour, and blessed this day of the bright fortnight of Kartik. Blessed are those who come to His shelter; they possess a treasure of good fortune. ॥५॥धन्य सुयश गावेंगे जे जन तिनके भाग्य अपार हो ॥रसिकदास आयो शरणागति ताके शिर कर धार हो ॥६॥Blessed are those who sing His glorious praise; their good fortune is boundless. Rasikdas has come seeking refuge—please place Your hand upon his head. ॥६॥
