सुनोधों अपनेसुतकी बात ॥ देखयशोमति कान नराखत लेमाखन दधिखात ॥१॥“Yashoda, listen to what Your son has been doing! Look, He pays no attention to anyone and takes butter and curd to eat.” ॥१॥भाजनभान डारसबगोरस वाटत हैं करपात ॥ जोबरजोतो उलटडरावत चपलनयनकीघात ॥२॥“He breaks the pots, spills all the milk products, and scatters them about with His hands. Whenever I try to stop Him, He turns around and frightens me with His mischievous glances.” ॥२॥जोपावतसो गहत चपलकर कहत नकछु सकुँचात ॥ होसकुंचत अंचलकरधरकें रहीढाँपमुखगात ॥३॥“Whatever He can reach, He quickly grabs with His restless hands. He speaks without the slightest shyness. But I become embarrassed and cover my face and body with my veil.” ॥३॥गिरिधरलाल हालऐसेंकर चले धायमनहिमुसकात ॥ दासचतुर्भुज प्रभु जानत हैं यहसोंहेदेसात ॥४॥“After behaving like this, Giridharlal runs away, smiling to Himself.” Das Chaturbhuj says, “The Lord knows the affection behind these complaints.” ॥४॥
