व्रज पर श्यामघटा जुर आई ॥ तेसीये दामिनी चहुं दिश कोंधत लेत तरंग सुहाई ॥१॥A mass of dark rainclouds has gathered over Vraj. Lightning flashes beautifully in all directions, sending out lovely waves of light. ॥१॥सघन छांय कोकिला कूजत चलत पवन सुखदाई ॥ गुंजत अलीगण सघन कुंजमें सौरभकी अधिकाई ॥२॥Dense shade has spread, the cuckoo calls, and a pleasing breeze is blowing. Swarms of bees hum in the thick groves, where the fragrance has greatly increased. ॥२॥विकसत श्वेत पांत बगलनकी जलधर शीतल ताई ॥ नवनागरि गिरिधरन छबीलो कृष्णदास बलिजाई ॥३॥Rows of white herons appear in bloom, and the rainclouds bring a cooling freshness.
