यह कोऊ जानेरी वाकी चितबनमेंके चरित्र मुरली मांझ ठगोरी ॥ देखत सुनतही मोहे जात सुरनर मुनि और खगोरी ॥१॥
“Who can understand the wonderful ways of His captivating glances and the enchanting power hidden in His flute? Merely seeing Him or hearing His flute, gods, human beings, sages, and even birds become completely enchanted.” ॥१॥
हरत काम की कामताई कामिनी जो जहां ठाडी चल न सकत डगोरी ॥ इन कुल कान करत तो लाज आवे जगन्नाथप्रभु यह अवलोक लगोतोल गोरी ॥२॥
“His beauty takes away even the power of Kamadeva, the god of love. Wherever the women are standing, they become so captivated that they cannot take even a single step. O fair one, it is embarrassing to speak of family honour in such a state. Jagannath says, ‘Just behold the wondrous charm of the Lord!’” ॥२॥
