MEANING
आजदिपत दिव्य दीपमालिका ॥मानो कोटि रवि कोटि चंद छबि विमल भई निशि कालिका ॥१॥Today the divine Deepmalika shines brilliantly. It seems as though the radiance of millions of suns and millions of moons has made the dark night pure and bright. ॥१॥गजमोतिनके चौक पुराये बिचबिच वज्र प्रवालिका ॥गोकुल सकल चित्रमणि मंडित शोभित झाल झमालिका ॥२॥The ceremonial chaukas are filled with elephant pearls, with diamonds and coral placed between them. All of Gokul is adorned with beautiful jeweled designs, glittering and sparkling everywhere. ॥२॥पहर सिंगार बनी राधाजू संगलियें व्रज बालिका ॥झलमल दीप समीप सोंजभर करलीयें कंचन थालिका ॥३॥Radhaju is beautifully adorned in shringar, accompanied by the young women of Vraj. Beside the shimmering lamps, She stands beautifully with a golden tray in Her hand. ॥३॥पाये निकट मदनमोहन पिय मानो कमल अलि मालिका ॥आपुन हँसत हँसावत ग्वालन पटक पटक दे तालिका ॥४॥With Piya Madanmohan close beside Her, They appear like a lotus and its bee. Smiling Himself and making the Gwalinis laugh, He repeatedly claps His hands in rhythm. ॥४॥नंदभवन आनंद बढ्यो अति देखत परम रसालिका ॥सूरदास कुसुमन सुर बरखत कर अंजुलि पुटभालिका ॥५॥Great joy increases in Nanda Bhavan as everyone beholds this most delightful sight. Surdas says: the devas shower flowers from above, scattering them from their folded hands. ॥५॥
