MEANING
आयौ कर्णवेध दिन नीको ।गुरकी भेली हाथ निवाई कियौ रोचन कौ टीकौ॥१॥The auspicious day of ear-piercing has come. She bowed with the guru's offering in her hand and made a mark of rochan ॥१॥गुरु शशि नक्षत्र बार बल पहुँच्यौ दिन मनि अति सुखदाई ।सौने कंठ भूषन पहराये हाथ सुहारी पाई ॥१॥With Jupiter, the Moon, the constellation, the weekday, and the ascendant all attaining auspicious strength, the day became exceedingly joyful. Golden ornaments were placed around His neck, and beautiful bracelets upon His hands. ॥१॥विप्रन दान मान बहु दीनौ पूजा करी गुरुदेवा ।कृष्णदासकों यह वर दीजै पद पंकजकी सेवा ॥३॥Much charity and honor were given to the Brahmins, and Gurudev was worshiped. Grant Krishnadas this boon: seva of the lotus feet ॥३॥
