आज अति शोभितहें नंदलाल ॥ ग्वाल पगा शिर उपर सोहे उर राजत वनमाल ॥१॥Today Nandalal shines with exceptional beauty. A cowherd’s turban looks lovely upon His head, and a vanamala shines upon His chest. ॥१॥तापर एक चंद्रिका जरकसी धोती उपरना लाल ॥ आगें गाय ग्वाल सबलेकें मुरली शब्द रसाल ॥२॥Upon it shines a chandrika ornament; He wears a zari-bordered dhoti and a red upper cloth. With the cows and all the cowherd boys along with Him, the sweet sound of His flute resounds. ॥२॥दादुर मोर कोकिला कूजत बाजत किंकिणी जाल ॥ गोविंद प्रभुकी बानिक निरखत मोहि रही व्रजबाल ॥३॥Frogs, peacocks, and cuckoos are calling, and the little bells are ringing. Beholding Govind Prabhu’s graceful bearing, the girls of Vraj remain enchanted. ॥३॥
