MEANING
ग्वाल पगा गोविंद सीस पर मानौं गिरि ऊपर नाचत मोर ॥ अधरन पर मुरली कल कुंजे वरषा ऋतु मानौं नव घन घोर ॥१॥Upon Govind’s head is the cowherd’s turban, as though a peacock were dancing upon a mountain. Upon His lips the flute sweetly sounds, as though the rainy season itself had come with fresh, dense dark clouds. ॥१॥अरुन बसन पहिरे गोपी जन देखन द्वार जुरि सब दोर ॥ 'कृष्ण दास' मानौं चंद वधू सी रिझि रिझि डारत तून तोर ॥२॥The gopis, dressed in red garments, all come running and gather at the doorway to behold Him. Krishnadas says: like moon-bright brides, delighted again and again, they lovingly ward away all ill from Him. ॥२॥
