MEANING
बादली साज बन्यो अति सुन्दर चहुंदिसतें बादर जुरी आई ॥ध्रुव ॥A most beautiful cloud-colored adornment has been prepared, and clouds have gathered from all directions. ॥ध्रुव ॥गरजत गगन दामिनी दमकत ता मधि जुगल किसोर सुहाई । बादली पाग पिछोरा बादली सारी चोली सुभग मनभाई ॥ १॥The sky thunders and lightning flashes, and in the midst of it the youthful divine pair look so lovely. A cloud-colored turban and pichhora, and a cloud-colored sari and choli—beautiful and pleasing to the heart. ॥१॥मानिकको सिंगार सुभग अति तिलक करनफूल भाल धराई । सुभग चन्द्रिका कलगी लटकन सीसफूल बेसर लर लाई ॥२॥They are beautifully adorned with rubies; a tilak shines on the forehead, and lovely ear-ornaments are worn. A graceful chandrika, crest-ornament, dangling ornaments, head-flower, and a besari with its string are all in place. ॥२॥पोहोंची और दुगदुगी सोभित गुंजमाल सिरकंठ धराई । फूलनकी माला अति मेहकत 'नंददास' निरखत सुख पाई ॥३॥The pohonchi and dugdugi shine beautifully, and a garland of gunja beads is worn upon the head and neck. The flower garlands are richly fragrant; Nanddas, beholding this, is filled with joy. ॥३॥
