MEANING
चढि गोवर्धन शिखर सांवरो बोलत धोरी धेनु ॥पीत वसन शिर मोरचंद्रिका धरि मुख मुरली बेनु ॥१॥The dark-hued One climbs to the summit of Govardhan and calls to His cow, Dhori. He wears a yellow garment and a peacock-feather chandrika upon His head, and holds the Murali to His lips. ॥१॥बनमाला गले धातु विचित्र ग्वाल संग एनु ॥A Vanamala hangs around His neck, His body is beautifully decorated with colourful mineral pigments, and the Gwalas are with Him.विष्णुदास बलि बलि लीला पर पीवत घैया मथिफेनु ॥२॥Vishnudas offers himself again and again to this Leela, as Lala drinks the fresh foam from the churning of the cows’ milk. ॥२॥
