MEANING
॥ मुकुट ॥ दोऊ मिलि झूलतहें दर्पण मणिके हिंडोरें ॥ तेसोई कुंज चहुंदिश प्रफुलित मणि दीपक चहुंओरें ॥१॥॥ Mukut ॥ The two swing together upon a mirror-and-jewel swing. The kunja all around is likewise in full bloom, with jeweled lamps shining in every direction. ॥१॥तेसोईनीर सुखद यमुनाको तेसोई त्रिविध पवन झकझोरें ॥ तेसीय चपला चमकत कबहुं तेसेई मधुरमधुर घनघोरें ॥२॥The waters of the Yamunā are likewise delightful, and the three kinds of breeze stir everything gently. At times the lightning flashes, and at times the deep clouds thunder ever so sweetly. ॥२॥तेसीय झूलवत सखी चहुंदिश सब राजत तनगोरें ॥ भूषण वसन तन अद्भुत कही न जात मतिथोरें ॥३॥In the same way, the sakhīs stand on every side and swing Them, all radiant in Their fair forms. Their ornaments and garments upon Their bodies are so wonderful that their beauty cannot be adequately described. ॥३॥पियशिर मुकुट काछिनी कटिपर पीतवसन छबिछोरें ॥ प्यारी कटि सारी अति झीनी कंचुकीउर लहेंगा झकझोरें ॥४॥The Beloved wears a crown upon His head, a kāchhinī at His waist, and a yellow garment, displaying wondrous beauty. The Beloved One wears a sari, a fine bodice, and a lehenga, all beautifully arranged. ॥४॥भूषण अति अद्भुत दोउनके हीरानके चितचोरें गजमोतिनकी माला बिराजत कुंडल कर्णफूल मुखगोरें ॥५॥The ornaments of both are exceedingly wonderful and captivating: necklaces of diamonds and pearls adorn Them, together with earrings and ear-flowers, enhancing Their beautiful faces. ॥५॥कुसुमदाम कर गुच्छ कुसुमके अंगअंग सोंधेबोरें ॥ प्यारी मधुरें बीनबजावत पियमुरली रवजोरें ॥६॥Flower garlands and clusters of flowers are in Their hands, and every part is immersed in their sweet fragrance. The Beloved One plays the vīṇā sweetly, while the Beloved plays the flute with a powerful, melodious sound. ॥६॥कोऊ चतुर मृदंग बजावत कोऊ गावत कलघोरें कोऊक दर्पण आन दिखावत तबही हँसत मुखमोरें ॥७॥One skillfully plays the mṛdaṅga, another sings in a melodious voice, and another brings a mirror and shows it to Them; at once, their faces light up with joyful smiles. ॥७॥कोऊक मेवा आदि आनि बहु ठाडी करत निहोरें ॥ आप आरोगत बांटत सबको बोलत बोलनिज ओरें ॥८॥Someone brings various delicacies and stands respectfully offering them. They partake of them and distribute them to everyone, speaking kindly to each one. ॥८॥बोलत वचन परस्पर हितके श्रीमुखसों मुख जोरें ॥ काको मुख सुन्दर कहि ललिता बोलिश्याम समगोरें ॥९॥They speak words of mutual affection, face to face. Lalitā says, “Whose face is beautiful?” and speaks of Shyām as equally beautiful. ॥९॥कोऊक कंचन झारी जलभरि अचवावत अतिहोरें ॥ कोऊक अंचलसों मुखपोंछत बीरीदेत करजोरें ॥१०॥Someone brings a golden vessel filled with water and offers it with great care. Someone else gently wipes the face with the edge of the garment and offers pān with folded hands. ॥१०॥कोऊक चमर करत चहुंदिशतें कोउपखा मोरछोरें ॥ रसिकदास प्रभुकी या छबि पर सर्वस्व डारत तृणतोरें ॥१॥Someone waves the cāmara from every direction, while another waves a peacock-feather fan. Rasikdās says: upon this beautiful form of the Lord, I offer my entire self and all that I possess as lightly as a blade of grass. ॥१॥
