MEANING
दरपन सन्मुख धरे झूलत हैं रंगभरे सखियन दरपन लिये चहुंदिसि ठाढी । दरपन अवनि झांई झुकि-झुकि लेत खनी प्रतिबिंब देखि-देखि दूनी सोभा बाढी ॥१॥Holding mirrors before Them, They swing, filled with joyful color, while the sakhīs stand all around holding mirrors. The mirrors reflect the ground, and as they bend down again and again, they catch the reflections; seeing the reflections repeatedly, the beauty appears to increase twofold. ॥१॥दरपनके खंभ दोऊ डांडी बनी दरपनकी दरपन से राजत दोऊ रंग रह्यो भारी । रसिक प्रीतम पिय झूलत दरपन कुंज-सदन जमुना बहे दरपनसी आरी ॥२॥The two pillars and the two supports of the swing are made of mirrors. Through the mirrors, the two shine beautifully, and the whole scene is filled with wondrous color. The beloved couple swings in the mirror-filled kunja pavilion, while the Yamunā flows like a mirror nearby. ॥२॥
