MEANING
हरिजूको ग्वालिन भोजन लाई ॥ वृंदा विपिन विशद यमुनातट सुन ज्यों नार बनाई ॥१॥
A cowherd woman brings food for Hari. On the beautiful, open banks of the Yamunaji, in the forest of Vrindavan, she hears where He is and makes her way there. ॥१॥
सानसान दधिभात लियोहै सुखद सखनके हेत ॥ मध्यगोपालमंडली मोहन छाक विहंसिमुखदेत ॥२॥
She has brought curd mixed with rice, lovingly prepared for Hari and His friends. Sitting among the circle of cowherd boys, Mohan smiles as He gives them their food. ॥२॥
देवलोक देखत सब कौतुक बालकेलि अनुरागे ॥ गावत सुनत सुखद अतिमानो सूरदुरत दुःखभागे ॥३॥
All the gods in heaven watch these wonderful childhood pastimes with love. Surdas says that singing and listening to these joyful pastimes brings great happiness and drives away sorrow. ॥३॥
