MEANING
जयति घनश्याम रसरूप निज देह धरि प्रकट भये आप श्रीवल्लभ कुमार घर ॥Victory to Ghanshyam, the very form of rasa, who Himself assumed a body and appeared in the home of Shri Vallabh Kumar.तरण तारण सकल दुख हरण सुख करन विरह अनुभव करन वैराग्यरूप धर ॥१॥He crosses over and carries others across, removes every sorrow, and bestows happiness; He gives the experience of viraha and embodies vairagya. ॥१॥सकल पुर घर घरन सजे नाना साज ध्वजा कनक कलश तोरण माल कुसुमकी ॥Every home throughout the town is adorned with many decorations—flags, golden kalashas, torans, and garlands of flowers.विविध चंदवा बँधे रंग रंगननके खंभ रभानके ओल धरत दीपकी ॥२॥Many kinds of canopies are hung, with pillars in various colours, while rows of lamps are arranged beneath their shade. ॥२॥उभय दिशद्वारके कुंकुमन करि छाप रचे सथीये धूप अगर सौरभ रली ॥On both sides of the doorways, auspicious designs and marks are made with kumkum, while the fragrance of incense and agar fills the air.अरगजासों लिपी छीरकि सौरभनीर मणिन मुक्तानसों चोक पूरत अली ॥३॥The ground is anointed with fragrant argaja and sprinkled with scented water; O sakhi, the chaukas are filled with gems and pearls. ॥३॥बजत दुंदुभी आदि नाद चहुंदिश भयो देव वरखे कुसुम अतिही फूले ॥Dundubhis and other instruments resound in every direction, while the delighted devas shower flowers.करत जय जय सुमुख पढत अस्तुति सबे विवश भये नचत आनंद कूले ॥४॥All cry “Jaya! Jaya!” and joyfully recite praises; overcome with happiness, they dance in boundless joy. ॥४॥वेद ब्रह्मादि वद देत आसीस बहु चिरजीयो बाल निजजनन काजे ॥The Vedas, Brahma, and the others offer many blessings, saying, “May this child live long for the sake of His own devotees.”रसिकको दास यह परम फल रूप लखि दोरि आयो पोरि दरस काजे ॥५॥Rasikdas says: seeing this form as the supreme fruit of life, I have come running to the doorway for His darshan. ॥५॥
