MEANING
जयति घनश्याम वपु प्रकट सप्तम तनय विरह रसरूप विठुलेश निज धाम ॥Victory to Ghanshyam, who has appeared in bodily form as the seventh son in the home of Vitthalesh, the very form of the rasa of viraha.बजत बाजे विविध वेणु सुरसों मिले भयो सुर नाद निर्तत सुव्रज भाम ॥१॥Many instruments resound, blending with the sweet notes of the venu and filling the air with beautiful music, while the lovely women of Vraj dance. ॥१॥सुनत थाये सकल गुणी मागध सूत पढत द्विज वेद ध्वनि करत मंगल काम ॥Hearing the news, all the accomplished singers, Magadhas, and Sutas arrive, while the Brahmins recite the Vedas and perform auspicious rites.देत बहु दान सनमान करि सबनको गज धेनु हय कनक धन बसन भूषण गाम ॥२॥Honouring everyone, abundant gifts are given—elephants, cows, horses, gold, wealth, garments, ornaments, and villages. ॥२॥देत आसीस बहु करत जय जयकार चले करि दरस मन भये पूरण काम ॥After having His darshan, they give many blessings and depart crying, “Jaya! Jaya!”, their hearts filled and their wishes fulfilled.रसिक दास मति हीन कहाकहे सुजस रटत मुनिशेष विधि ईश निशदिन जाम ॥३॥Rasikdas says: what can one of such little understanding say of His glorious praise, when the munis, Shesha, Brahma, and Shiva recite it day and night? ॥३॥
