कहत नंदरानी गोपालसों तातकों बुलाय लावो बडो परव उत्तरायन ।।द्विजनकों दान देंहो अशीश वचन पढेहों खेलन ना जावो लाल बेठ रहो आंगन ।।१।।Nandarani says to Gopal, “Go and call Your Taat (Father) and bring Him home; today is the great festival of Uttarayan. We shall give charity to the Brahmins and have them recite blessings. Lala, do not go out to play; remain here in the courtyard.” ।।१।।यह सुन मोहन कियो सिंगार सखा संग लेकें चले खिरक गो दोहन आय देखे बिन परत न चेन ।।Hearing this, Mohan adorns Himself and, taking His sakhas with Him, goes to the cattle enclosure where the cows are being milked; He cannot be at ease without seeing them.सूरश्याम बाबा सों कहत हैं जु आज कहा तिहारे मैया कही मोसों वह मोदक ले आवे भवन ।।२।।Sur says: Shyam says to Baba, “Why are You still here today? Maiya told Me to bring You home; the modaks are waiting for You there.” ।।२।।
