खंभकी ओझल ठाढो सुबल प्रवीण सखा करमें जटितडबा वीरासों भर्यो जेमतहेंरी मोहन ॥ परदापरे तिवारी तीन्यो तामध्य झलकत अंग अंग रंग सोहन ॥१॥Clever sakha Subal stands concealed behind a pillar, holding in his hand a jeweled box filled with prepared paan, while Mohan is taking His meal. Curtains have been lowered around the Tibari, and through them His beautiful form is seen in glimpses. ॥१॥जाहीको देखत रानी ताहीको उठतझुक कोऊ नहीं पावत समयो जोहन ॥ नंददासप्रभु भोजनकर बैठे तब में दईरी सेन पान खाये आंवन कह्योरी गोहन ॥२॥Whenever Nandarani looks in that direction, Subal quickly bends out of sight, so that no one gets a chance to see him.
